Additional Features and Additional Qualifications

Additional Features refer to optional testing that Server Certified Devices and Systems can attain. The Additional Features designation refers to those individual Features a product may include but which are not mandatory for certification. The "Additional Qualifications" designation refers to a product that will have several features related to one level of qualification. As before, these features are not mandatory for certification of a product. However, for both Additional Features and Additional Qualifications, if a product has a feature, that feature will be tested. and it must meet all the certification Requirements and pass all the relevant Tests. A Windows Server device or system product can only achieve the Additional Features or Additional Qualification designation if the device or system has earned the Certified for Windows Server status.
