Search Tips
The main search box at the top of this Web page searches the entire list of software
and hardware product names and company names. Enter multiple keywords separated by spaces and click 'Go' to view search
results. Search is not case-sensitive.
If more than one word is entered, the search will return a list of all product names that contain any of the words in the search, in any order. For example, if you enter Microsoft Mouse you could find the following products: 'Microsoft optical mouse', 'Mouse by Microsoft' and 'Microsoft Mouse Basic' as well as product names containing 'Microsoft' or 'Mouse'. Note that the most relevant items that contain both words will sort to the top of the results list.
To search for an exact text string, enter double quotes around the string. For example, if you enter "Microsoft Mouse" you will only find product names that contain both words in order. While you would find 'Microsoft Mouse Basic', you would not find 'Microsoft optical Mouse'.
Once the main search is used, you can narrow search results by using the filters on the left navigation menu. The filters work on product category, OS compatibility, vendor name and processor architecture. Note that the OS compatibility filter is automatically set to display only products that are Designed, Certified for or Works with Windows Server. You must select 'See other options' to view supported products as well.
Search results can also be sorted by product name and manufacturer name if necessary.
